Topology Spotlight Brings Focus to Large Networks

Managing large environments is now faster and more intuitive with the new Topology Spotlight feature. When you need to investigate a specific group of clients, Topology automatically collapses unrelated devices, making it easier to isolate issues and understand network behavior without unnecessary visual clutter.

  • Automatically highlights the clients that matter most
  • Reduces visual complexity for faster troubleshooting
  • Speeds up network analysis in large deployments
Topology Spotlight streamlines client analysis by automatically reducing unnecessary network complexity.

Smarter WiFi Monitoring and Automation

Network 10.6 continues to improve wireless management at scale. Time Machine is now available in the Radios Overview, providing quick access to historical performance data and AP events. Channel AI now supports nightly automation for proactive optimization, while the new Multicast Suppressor* helps prevent broadcast storms and protects valuable airtime in dense wireless environments. *Multicast Suppressor will be coming soon to Early Access.

  • Review historical wireless and AP performance with Time Machine
  • Automate channel optimization every night with Channel AI
  • Improve network stability using Multicast Suppressor
Historical insights and automated optimization deliver more efficient wireless optimization.

Expanded Port Visibility and Security

Time Machine is now available in the Ports Overview, making it easier to investigate historical port activity. This release also introduces the first phase of port security with simple port locking*, helping administrators better protect UniFi device PoE connections. *Port Locking will be coming soon to Early Access

  • Analyze historical port performance with ease
  • Secure critical PoE connections for UniFi Devices through port locking
  • Strengthen physical network security with minimal effort
Port locking adds a simple yet effective layer of infrastructure protection.

Faster Device Management and Safer Configuration Changes

Managing infrastructure becomes more efficient with granular bulk device updates that simplify large-scale operations. SafeOps has also expanded to management device VLAN changes, using test-and-confirm rollback protection to reduce the risk of configuration errors. Push a bad configuration? Your UniFi Devices will automatically roll back to the last working config.

  • Apply bulk updates with greater precision
  • Safely modify management VLAN settings
  • Reduce operational risk with automatic configuration rollback protection
SafeOps helps ensure configuration changes are both efficient and automatically recoverable.

Improved Site Management and High Availability Insights

Site Manager gains additional intelligence with Drift Inspector in Blueprints, making it easy to identify approved configuration exceptions and detect deviations from that Blueprint across multiple sites. The new High Availability Readiness Score also provides an instant view of whether ISP, power, and gateway single points of failure have been eliminated.

  • Detect configuration drift across multiple sites
  • Track approved Blueprint exceptions with confidence
  • Measure infrastructure and WAN resilience at a glance
High Availability Readiness delivers an instant assessment of network resilience.

Network 10.6 delivers meaningful improvements across visibility, automation, security, and operational resilience. Whether managing a single deployment or a global fleet of sites, these enhancements help administrators troubleshoot faster, automate more effectively, protect critical infrastructure, and maintain greater confidence in network performance and availability.

*Port Locking and Multicast Suppressor are coming soon to Early Access

  • Multicast Suppressor support. Requires UAP 8.8 or newer.

  • Lock Port to UniFi Device option to Port Manager. Requires Switch firmware version 7.6 or newer.
