Ubiquiti launches the Ubiquiti Speed Test, the first public test network integrated with enterprise network equipment. Ubiquiti Speed Test comprises a network of test servers and built-in speed test capabilities. Reports include uplink/downlink throughput and latency. Sharing the results is easy via email or social media.

We recently began shipping our newest product line of UniFi access points, the UniFi AC Mesh. Our UniFi AC Mesh line includes two models: the base UniFi AC Mesh (UAP-AC-M) and the UniFi AC Mesh Pro (UAP-AC-M-PRO). These access points offer benefits consistent with the rest of the UniFi AC products, but also add some new features that can help administrators better meet their network’s needs.
In UniFi Controller versions 5.3.X and later, we added a feature called Group Configuration. Group Configuration allows network administrators to configure entire groups of UniFi APs at once. This post will provide an overview of how this feature works and how it can be useful.
Since the advent of the Internet, a number of technological improvements were necessary to facilitate the speeds that users have come to expect. To mitigate these limitations, Wi-Fi technology has evolved to increase speeds, as have wired standards (for example, from 10/100 to Gigabit Ethernet).
